This is getting ridiculous.
[Well that certainly sounds like Archer, though he's not on screen. The background appears to be a very boring room in what looks like a hotel, with a window showing that it is indeed still raining dogs. Apparently it was fine while it was raining cats, but Archer has finally lost his suspension of disbelief at the dogs.]
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I was willing to write the sharks off as a freak storm, but this? It's been two days of this now. How long is it going to rain animals?
[The camera turns then to focus on two Espurrs sitting on the hotel bed. They look as traumatized as any normal Espurr, but they're sitting upright and clutching each other's paws for dear life.]
I have another question. Has anyone ever had a Pokémon that has simply refused to do anything without being accompanied by a partner?
[Archer moves into the shot, proving that he's not actually filming this. He reaches out and scoops up the Espurr on the left, pulling it away from the second one. Immediately both the cats start wailing. It's very loud and the both of them immediately attempt to reunite, the one on the bed clawing at Archer's uniform and the one in his arms squirming frantically. Archer sighs and drops the cat on the bed and the two quickly join hands again and go silent, staring up at Archer like he's committed the worst sin possible.]
I can't get them to do anything. I didn't even want two, but when I caught the first one the second one wouldn't stop following me and crying.
[He sounds annoyed, but it was really just kind of depressing.]
I've never had two Pokémon this dependent on each other. Has anyone else had experience dealing with something like this?

[Well, hello, Archer; guess who's outside in it.]

[He's just a tiny bit annoyed.]

That said, they're interesting animals.

I agree. This weather is terrible. [Given that she's never seen it actually rain cats and dogs before, this was a first for her. A surprising thought.] And now that it's raining dogs, it's even worse.

One of these dogs landed right on my back. I'll be sore for a week.

Still, it's a good question. Codependent Pokémon, hmm...]
Well, I've seen Pokémon that prefer to stick together, but nothing this serious. How do they even handle being put inside Pokéballs?
[Because if it's as bad as it looks, that could be... well, a bit of a problem.]
no subject
[That's too complicated because that involve thinking about how the inside of a Pokéball works. He's from 1915 and in no way prepared to handle thinking about this level of technology.]
no subject
[Those are the first thoughts that pop into his mind, at any rate. They're cats, so wouldn't they want to do cat-like things?]

[Hello there, Archer. Guess who hasn't left the safety (and quiet) of the Rocket Labs since it started raining furry creatures yesterday? This guy, goddamn.]
Although I have to admit, I didn't see this coming. I don't suppose you happened to look up while you were out there, did you, to see where they were coming from?
[Maybe they were being dropped from planes, or something...? Either way, what an odd bombardment.]
no subject
[That would just be undignified!]
I would have assumed that it was someone with a twisted sense of humor, but the fact that this is apparently happening all over Johto and Kanto is concerning. No one has the ability to drop this many Pokémon from the sky.
no subject
Mhmm. Cats yesterday, dogs today...who knows what tomorrow will bring?
[Now, let him contemplate those...very special kittens of yours, Archer. Behind his head, Kato's Lunatone hovers, similarly peering into the camera.
...which is a bit creepy, but details.]
Do they....do anything other than just staring like that...?
[Speaking of creepy...]

You know, I'd make a joke here but I'm pretty sure it would fly over your head.
[Greed can you just]
I have one of those weird cat things, but it's certainly not acting anything like that. Though honestly I don't know what it's thinking anyway.
no subject
[Yes you are.]
It's certainly annoying to have them fussing like this whenever they're separated. It's good to hear that it's not a species trait, I suppose.
[He can always get another one if these two don't work out!]
no subject
[Which. Makes it sound a little more serious than "Greed is an asshole at your expense". He gives a half shrug, though, and is content to let it go.]
It'd be rather hard to deal with if it was a species trait.

Heheh— Kinda like Wicked G and 2shade! They're super tight bros, man, like the dopest peanut butter and jolly fuckin' jelly, it's almost crazy . . . G followed us all over the motherfuckin' place 'cuz of Shade way back.
no subject
I have no idea what you're talking about.
no subject
Uhh . . . Aight, don't worry man, I got you. Lemme just . . .
[ find them. for a moment he's not sure whether they're still in their pokeballs or slinking about somewhere in the shadows. he does go for his belt and pokeballs, although it's a pretty delayed response thanks to staring up at the sky for a near minute straight ( there goes another one whoa )— in the mean time, his shadow wiggles and acts on its own accord, stretching out from the ground until two gengars ( with painted faces— gotta match the trainer yo ) emerge and spend little time in making a jump scare for gamzee happen, appearing in front of him a bit too suddenly. ]
Motherfuck—!
[ but when the initial jump settles down, the two laugh, and gamzee himself can't help a lazy chuckle as his eyes fall back to a relaxed expression. ]
Haha— These guys, yo. True glued brosis-ship.

It would be more alarming if they didn't stay together.
[He's got six beyond the two that decided not to leave him alone, and they move together like a single entity. It's rather unnerving, in all honesty.
As for why this is happening, who even knows.]
no subject
I suppose that's a good point, but the others seem to be just fine.

I've never had one that dependent on another Pokémon before, but I have had one that's completely useless unless the situation is exactly how she wants it. Otherwise she doesn't do anything but squeal and yell all day.
It's not like I spoiled her, either, she was like that when I got her.
